Bethlehem and custom RSPS
What Bethlehem317 is, what it costs and how it relates to RuneScape.
What is a custom RSPS?
A custom RSPS is a RuneScape private server that builds its own content instead of copying the official game. Bethlehem317 is a custom RSPS: next to familiar skills and bosses like Nex, Vorago and Zulrah, it has its own raids, bosses, items and minigames, like the Dragon Ball Z, Marvel, Final Fantasy and Pokémon raids, the Titan bosses, staff-hosted Raid Events and the Bethlehem Battleground.
Is Bethlehem317 free to play?
Yes. The client is a free download, there's no subscription, and every new account claims the Donator rank for free. An optional store sells items and ranks, but loads of rewards are earned in game: the Weapon Battle Pass, seasonal task lists, relics from global bosses and a monthly goodiebag for the top 5 voters.
Is Bethlehem317 an OSRS private server?
It is a custom server rather than a copy of Old School RuneScape. It keeps the RuneScape style of skills, combat and bosses and adds its own systems on top, such as Invention, Blessings with critical hits, Duo Slayer, companions and mounts. Some content is inspired by OSRS: the Bethlehem Battleground, for example, started from the idea of the Nightmare Zone.
How long has Bethlehem317 been online?
Since May 2019, so more than seven years. Bethlehem celebrated its sixth anniversary in May 2025 with the King Harry Relic, and the updates kept coming all through 2026: the Revenant Cave rework, Raid Events, a rebuilt launcher, bank placeholders and Halloween 2026. Every patch note is on the updates page.
Is Bethlehem317 affiliated with Jagex or RuneScape?
No. Bethlehem317 is a fan-made private server. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by or connected to Jagex or RuneScape.
