What an instance token does
- Click it in your inventory or Tool Belt to teleport to your own private copy of that boss's area. The token is not used up. You have to wait 20 seconds between new instances.
- Drop-rate bonus: while the token is in your inventory and you are in that boss's area (the public area counts too), you get +20 drop rate (DR) and +20 double drop rate (DDR). An (i) token gives +30. These are points, not percent. A token in your Tool Belt gives no bonus.
- Golden Dice Totem: the plain Golden Dice Totem replaces the token's bonus (you get only the Totem's +50). A Golden Dice Totem (i) does not, so its +100 adds to the token's bonus.
- (i) tokens: for the 12 bosses, (i) only changes +20 to +30. For the Titans, Joker, Vorago and Icy Vorago, the (i) token also spawns 2 bosses instead of 1. (i) tokens are made with Invention and can't be traded. Normal tokens can be traded.
- Exception: Vorago Instance and Vorago Instance (i) give no bonus at the moment. In the Vorago area only the Icy Vorago tokens count.
- Ironmen get boss instances for free from the Instance Manager near home.
The Queen Dana Instance (i) is gained by buying the Queen Dana Instance and using the various items needed to create the upgraded version. While it is in your inventory and you are in this boss’s area, you get +30 drop rate and +30 double drop rate (points, not percent). Once you have upgraded your instance it is no longer tradeable.
