Privacy Policy

What we collect

In the game

• Your username and password. You choose them on the login screen when you make your account. There is no separate sign-up form.
• Your game progress, such as your items, levels and achievements, so your account is there next time you log in.
• The IP address you connect from, which helps us run the game and keep it fair, for example to enforce bans.
• Your email address, only if you give it to us with the ::email command. We use it to send you the code for the free Donator rank.

On the forums and wiki

• The forums ask for a username, a password and an email address when you register (the email is used to activate your account and for forum notifications). Your posts are public. Like most forum software, the forums record the IP address a post was made from.
• Anyone can read the wiki without an account. Only staff log in, with Discord.

When you contact us

If you email us, we keep your message and email address so we can reply.

Cookies and tags on this website

You don't need an account to use bethlehem317.com. The site loads a few services from other companies, and these may set cookies or see your IP address:

• Google Tag Manager and Google Ads conversion tracking. When you arrive from one of our Google ads and download the client, Google Ads counts that download, so we can tell which ads work. We don't use Google Analytics.
• Meta (Facebook) Pixel, which tells Meta which pages were visited, so we can measure and show our ads on Facebook and Instagram.
• Mailchimp, which runs our email newsletter. You only get newsletters if you sign up for them, and every newsletter has an unsubscribe link.
• Cloudflare, which protects the site from attacks and makes it load faster. It sees every visit to the site, like any network provider in between.
• Google Fonts, which serves the site's fonts.

You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings, and you can change your ad settings at Google and Meta.

Store, voting and other services

• Store. Purchases go through our third-party store provider at bethlehem.gamepayments.net. You enter your payment details on their pages, not on this website, and their own privacy policy applies.
• Voting. Voting runs through EverythingRS and the toplist sites you vote on, which have their own privacy policies.
• Discord and YouTube. Our community lives on Discord, and our videos are on YouTube. When you use them, their own privacy policies apply.

How we use it

We use this information to run the game and your account, send the Donator code you asked for, answer your messages, keep the game and the site safe, and measure our ads. We don't sell your personal information.

Your choices

• Email [email protected] to ask what we hold about you, or to have your email address or account deleted. Tell us your username so we can find it.
• Bethlehem317 is not meant for children under 13. If you think a child under 13 has given us their email address, let us know and we will delete it.
• If we change this policy, we will update this page and the date at the top.
